Double Heart BookMark

I am kind of on a bookmark kick lately.  This one is good for the younger kiddos. No little pieces for them to choke on.

You can find the pattern here.

It's fun for a Valentines day gift.  I had grand ideas of making one for each of the kiddos.  That wont be happening! This little guy was an exercise in patience to finish.  I would put it in the easy+ to intermediate category.

The hardest part was the little heart at the bottom. It's so tiny but took me the longest to make. It all worked out in the end.  I only made one maybe one day I will make more.

Since I made this I have found some other heart patterns that are much easier to make. Terry did a review of 3 crocheted heart patterns here.  I think one of them would work much better for this.

Thanks for stoppin' by and hangin' out.

I think this is adorable! I love how you put the hearts on both ends...kinda like a heart for momma and a heart for baby :-)
